Morgan's mark left on the village.

Back in 1873 local big cheese David Morgan started building Garth House, he and his family have gone as has the house name, replaced by a number when the council decided everyone liked numbers better. I am now the proud owner of the former Garth House, the chapel pictured above of which David Morgan was instrumental in the building and running of also has a new owner.

The chapel is stone built under a slate roof, similar in size and construction to one along the road that was sold for £50k then demolished and new houses built on the site. No such ending for this chapel though, it has a grade 2 listing for reasons unknown to me, and there was also a rider attached to the property saying that it has to stay as a place of worship.
The chapel is on the side of the A474 a busy road that runs through the Amman valley and has space on the road for perhaps 4 cars to park if none of the villagers have parked there already.
I have asked around and there doesn't seem to be a single Muslim living in village so imagine my surprise when the chapel was sold for £22k to be used as a Mosque. As the bus service running past the Mosque is pretty non existent that means ever person coming to worship will be in a car so parking in the village will be chaos.
